How to Become a Volunteer!

We are so excited that you're interested in volunteering with Planned Parenthood Association of Utah! 

You're in the right spot to begin your volunteer journey. Check out the steps below to get started:

1. Join our Ambassador program - The Birds and the Beehive! Joining the Hive is the first level of engagement at PPAU and is a requirement for ALL volunteers. You can sign up here!
2. Sign up to become a volunteer on our volunteer website. While you will have access to your volunteer profile and application, you won't be able to see volunteer opportunities until you've attended our volunteer orientation and fulfilled all volunteer requirements! 
3. Attend a required volunteer orientation. Once you've signed up and completed all pre-requisites, we will email you when we have volunteer orientation dates! This may take some time as we generally host orientations once every 3-4 months. Prior to orientation we also ask for 3 references. During this process we will review your submitted application and contact your references. Once we hear from your references, we'll call you for a brief phone interview. After both a successful reference check and phone interview, we will invite you to our next Volunteer Orientation!
